ORTHO-BIONOMY Ortho-Bionomy is a gentle, non-force form of structural and postural re-education, with a base in Osteopathy and Positional Release. Comfortable positioning, moving the body into a direction of ease (preferred posture) is used to inform, strengthen and resource the body and facilitate structural adjustment, alignment and postural re-education.
Ortho-Bionomy is principle based, incorporating the nature and experience of the person in a holistic approach to well being, health and healing. Using the principles of moving into the direction of ease and moving away from pain promotes a somatic understanding of how we can gain and maintain a state of health, comfort and wellness. The ongoing practice of Ortho-Bionomy facilitates the development of a high level of skill to further one's own health and well being. Ortho-Bionomy is a safe, effective stand alone practice for body re-education and is highly effective when used in conjunction with conventional and holistic health care. Equine Ortho-Bionomy (EO).
